Bayern Munich still secretly hopes to overtake Barca to grab Nico

Famous journalist Florian Plettenberg revealed that Bayern Munich are not giving up on their pursuit of Athletic Bilbao forward Nico Williams, hoping to beat Barcelona.

    According to Plettenberg, the Bavarians have the money to pay Bilbao and are offering Nico a salary of €12m per year, while Barcelona are only paying around €7m-8m per year.

    However, the German Bundesliga champions have not yet made any official contact with Bilbao, but will wait and see what Barcelona do. If they fail, they are ready to step in immediately.
